Runs quiet

The fridge looks large on the inside but in fact holds the same amount as my smaller fridge did. It was a 19.1 cu ft and this is a 21.1 cu ft. Not a lot of difference but worth noting. It is quiet and performs well. The only thing I do not like is that the way the shelves are designed, you cannot put a gallon of milk on the top shelf. You would need to remove one shelf in order to do so. I do not drink a lot of milk so it is not a deal breaker for me.

Piece of crap! Do not buy this.

Crap fridge 1/19/2022

Shortly after 1 year warranty, the cheap plastic drawer broke. Year three, compressor fan blade breaks. No parts to be found anywhere in Canada. So, pay this much for a fridge to last three years if you like. Called GE, too bad, so sad. Much better buying used 25 year old fridge than this.

I just love my GE appliances. My parents built their house in 1964 and had the original oven and stovetop and love them. Never had a problem but trying to get into the present. I love GE hope my new appliances lsst the 50yrs my old ones did.

2 weeks old and failing

The product was installed less than a month ago, bought new from The Home Depot and it started to fail a week later, the sides being too hot to keep a hand on more than a few seconds. Now the freezer part doesn't make ice anymore and the fridge is barely at acceptable temperature to keep food safe. I'm very disappointed with that appliance and waiting for it to be repaired instead of having a brand new one delivered and the problem being investigated on the GE side.
