This dehumidifier works as described. I recently remodeled my entire basement floor and I noticed my new bookshelf and other items were warping. Also white spots were appearing. My original thermostat did not read the high humidity but when I got a new thermostat it tested the humidity and it was pretty high. I guess humidity is not necessarily a hot feeling. Well I looked for dehumidifiers and saw this was a good one. I bought it and the results were impressive. The shelves were no longer soft and bending. My doors were no longer tight and of course no more white spots. There is a setting as to what should be the right humidity. Whenever the humidity raises, the dehumidifier turns on. It™™s easy to remove the water with the easily removable tray. I had to do this a lot for two weeks but now it™™s barely anything since the humidity is now manageable. Frigidaire makes an excellent product. I highly recommend it.

I decided to order direct from Frigidaire rather than suppliers in hopes of better treatment down the road. In use for one week - works well. I am initially impressed with its heavy weight. Gives me more confidence in a higher quality unit. Shipped fast and reassuring communication.

The only negative to this humidifier is the size. We were hoping it would fit on a shelf above our toilet, but once we got it up there it seemed very dangerous, especially with the wheels. Leaving it on the ground it has made our bathroom dry. Like, there is no fog on the mirror after getting out of the shower. Impressive. We have a larger version in our basement that also works wonderfully.

The dehumidifier is working well. I put it in my garage. It still works fine considering the low temperatures the garage can get down to here in the northeast.

Delivered undamaged, on time though box was in poor condition. Unit is tolerably quiet on low speed. I appreciate it shows current humidity of the room. It appears well made and easy to set up, use and clean. The manual is well written and on-line registration was easy. The electrical cord is long enough so no additional cord is needed.

Love my new Frigidaire appliances. I bought Frigidaire for the 2nd time. First in 2005 and had great performance with non existent problems for 19 years. I decided I wanted to update my kitchen, and even though they were still working I just wanted to modernize my appliances. Thrilled to have a dishwasher that is soooo quiet and a refrigerator with the freezer on the bottom. Only have the stove to replace and will get one with an air fryer. I find for me, Frigidaire is a little less expensive and has worked wonderfully all these years. I would recommend this brand to anyone. Thank you Frigidaire. I'm a believer!!

After several years and several humidifiers I have found the correct humidifier. Unlike previous humidifiers this one is relatively quiet and works fantastic with Bringing Down the humidity in my small office.

I purchased this dehumidifier when my AC went out to help control the humidity until I could get the AC replaced. It worked very well, and I decided to keep using it after the AC unit was replaced to help monitor and control the humidity levels.

We've only had the dehumidifier six days, but so far we absolutely love it! About every 36 to 48 hours, the bucket is full. The smell is already fresher and less moldy in the room.

I have zero complaints about this unit. I have gone through several cheaper units that barely got the job done and died early (less than a year). While it is too early to have an opinion on long-term reliability, the unit is doing an excellent job keeping my humidity at a comfortable level. Noise level is fine and controls are easy to understand and operate. I would definitely recommend this unit to a friend or family member.

I bought two of the Frigidaire 22 pint dehumidifiers when they were on sale recently. It™™s one of the best purchases I™™ve ever made. I have had mold problems for several years and these puppies work like a charm. The tank on each unit fills in about 24 hours. The units do put out a little heat, but the fact that they collect so much water makes that an nonissue. It™™s easy to empty the tank outside or in the bathtub. I will buy another unit when they go on sale again.

Runs very quiet and draws a lot of moisture, even at low fan speed. We use it in the bathroom to remove steam and condensation. With the exhaust fan running and the dehumidifier on low, room is clear within 15 minutes and about an hour later the room humidity is down to 50% Way better than the GE unit it replaced. The red float in the water bucket is a nice touch also!

Durable machine. Needed a smaller second unit due to excess moisture in basement due to hurricane Helene. Our larger one drains into sump pump well and it gets the job done but we added a smaller version from Frigidaire to put on other end of basement.Works well. No problem so far.

If I could review a product/company and give 0 stars then I would. The product was poor. It broke in less than a year. What has been astounding is how terrible the customer service has been. As the dehumidifier was within the one year warranty period we were eligible for a replacement. However obtaining this has been an appalling process. Wait times on the phone are astronomical. Once connected you reach someone who is uninformed of the correct process and always directs you to submit your claim and information to an email address that has no response or feedback. I have been attempting this process for months now with no success. After this experience, I would never recommend any Frigidaire product to anyone else.

We have a Frigidaire dehumidifier that we bought in 2008 and it has worked very well all these years. It runs in our basement most of the time and is fairly loud. The new one that we recently purchased is much quieter and will hopefully last for quite a few years. Very pleased with this purchase!

Here in Miami Florida humidity is a constant, and our walk-in closet is carpeted which retains a lot of moisture that is further retained by the hanging clothes. I plugged in this dehumidifier and set it to 45% and by the end of the day the bucket is full, which is amazing because that water would otherwise be in the clothes and the carpet resulting in mold. I keep the fan on the medium setting and it is not noticeable from the other rooms. I am very pleased with this unit.

I have had my dehumidifier for about a week, and it has been great! I ran it on continuous in my bedroom/bathroom side of the apartment (about 300 sqft) and within a day it was noticeably drier. After the second day of running it, our bathroom was completely arid, and my skin was starting to crack so I had to turn it off. Very easy to move (love the wheels!) and super easy to empty. I really like the red floaty bar so you can easily tell from far away if it is close to needing emptying. Perfect for my humid small space to avoid mold and asthma/breathing issues. I have yet to try the timer function but was disappointed to read in the manual that the timer is actually a delay start timer rather than a duration timer. I think for a small space that needs to be quickly dehumidified this is a great choice. I hope it lasts a long time!

I replaced my basement dehumidifier that was 4 years old. My new Frigidaire ran quietly and after the initial CO period I went down to adjust it to the humidity level I wanted and noticed right away that my basement felt drier than it did with my previous unit even when it was new. so its quieter, more efficient and it costs less than my previous unit did. So far, whats not to love?

I love my new side by side! The best part is getting cold water from the door! Cubed ice or crushed ice is so simple as well. Plenty of space for fruits, vegetables and even those batteries we all need have a special place.

Although the HD was not high by curiosity the first day I got it I made it work over night. The next morning to my surprise I noticed the level of water was high. I put the water in a one gallon water glass container. It was almost full. Wow! I wanted a machine to collect water from thin air. This dehumidifier works perfectly. I can filter the water myself to drink the water. This dehumidifier is just what I was need for water emergency. It fits my budget. I am impressed.

Working out great so far. I live in a 2 bedroom apartment, and I'm emptying the bucket/tank about twice a day. I read so many reviews for dehumidifiers that didn't last, but Frigidaire seemed to be the most reliable brand. Fingers crossed.
