Dave’s Appliance is a family-owned corporation which began in 1977, after its founders, David & Denise Ketchen, closed their Western Auto hardware franchise to focus specifically on selling and servicing appliances and electronics.
Since
then, we have grown to a company that boasts nearly 3 million dollars
in annual sales, however we are still small enough to know and care for
our customers on a one-to-one basis. Our base spans from the very top
and westernmost points of Maine to islands like Bailey & Vinalhaven, south
to Portland and, of course, right here in Kennebec, Lincoln and Androscoggin
Counties. Dave’s Appliance, Inc. is now in its 2nd generation of ownership
with brothers, Scott, Michael, and Brian Ketchen, who have been part of
the company since the 1980’s.
